I might have done it...Gizmodo staff "buy and fail" gadgets 2021

It's not that the product is bad. I just couldn't see that it was Not for Me ... [See all images] Maybe I did it ... Gizmodo staff "buy and fail" Gadgets 2021 Doing media like Gizmodo If you are there, the pace of shopping will increase more than the general public. I want that, I want this, I fainted and woke up to find something at home...etc. Of course, there are many satisfying encounters, but there are also failures that make you think, "Oh, maybe it's too early...?" In this column, I gathered up such a moyamoya and held a memorial service. I would appreciate it if you could refer to it.

Garmin Lily

The smartwatch gift for my parents was a disaster. It was Christmas last year that I gave her father a Garmin GPS smart watch "VENU SQ", hoping that it would be an opportunity to relieve the lack of exercise. I was happy that she was happy to use it, and I gave my mother a Garmin women's smart watch "Lily" for her birthday this year. However, I couldn't master it, and my mother panicked. Instead of promoting exercise habits to relieve stress, the smartwatch itself seems to have become stressful. It's not the gadget's fault, it's just that it didn't meet the user's needs and capacity. Unfortunately, I had them sent back and gave them to my junior high school daughter. Before gifting a gadget to a parent, first consult... (Chitra Yamada)

BOB & BRAD Massage Gun

This year, as my lower back pain got worse, I decided to use a 90cm yoga pole (for the back and pelvis) and a massage ball with the same hardness as a tennis ball (intestinal waist). For muscle relaxation), and a massage gun (for pinpoint relaxation) by Bob and Brad (a popular physical therapist in the United States), which had a good reputation on Amazon. Together with the foam roller I had been using until then, I devoted myself to myofascial release more than usual. A few months later, the foam roller was the one I used the most, and the massage gun I used less and less. While the foam roller allows you to roll over a relatively wide area at your own pace, the massage gun feels like it vibrates at a rhythmic pace, and when you try to hit it especially for your back pain, it hits your pelvis and spine, and it hurts your back. If you can't move your hand well and only the surface is slipping, or if you try to tap your shoulder with this, you will feel the vibration echoing up to your head. However, even so, when I had muscle pain around my shins (tibialis anterior) the day after running in heels, I felt that the massage gun reached the affected area better. It's a big deal, so I'd like to find a better way to use it next year. (Rina Fukazu)
