Takeshi Shinjo (49), who has been appointed as the manager of Nippon-Ham, has come up with a song plan for the first time in history. HARTY (36), a reggae singer who is called a "disciple" of Mr. Shinjo, revealed to Sponichi this newspaper, and it seems that the fantastic "Shinjo Theater" will be fully opened.

At the inaugural press conference, Mr. Shinjo said, "I want to come down from the ceiling. The players will be with me," and revealed a plan to fly down from the ceiling of the domed stadium with Nine. His appearance song is also ready to prepare his own. The song was co-written with HARTY and produced by himself "%1 (Ichi Percent)" (released in August last year). HARTY revealed that he was directly consulted by Mr. Shinjo, saying, "Wouldn't it be funny if the director also had an appearance song?" As a player, there were cases where the concurrent director played the song when entering the bat, but it would be the first time in history that it would be a “director solo”. "%1 was written over half a year for my master (Mr. Shinjo) to enter the batting stage when he returned to the game after a tryout. A song filled with the mindset of aiming for a dream. When I heard the plan for the manager's entrance song, my heart was burning. It's gone." On this day, I stayed at Shinjo's house in Tokyo and watched the press conference on TV in the living room. “I was so moved that I felt like crying. It is said that the costume with a high collar was shown "Where is it?" before heading to Sapporo where the interview was held. About two years ago, Mr. Shinjo introduced me on Instagram, saying, "I found an artist who sings good songs." After sending him a direct message (DM) to thank him, their friendship began. Strangely enough, it was May 1992 when HARTY watched a professional baseball game for the first time. In the Hanshin-Ocean match, Mr. Shinjo hit his first professional home run on his first at-bat in the first pitch of the season. Since then, he became a big fan and started playing baseball. "I've always looked up to him, so it felt like a dream come true. I asked Mr. Shinjo, 'When I become a professional baseball player again, will you sing the song I appear in? ``I received a DM and the production of ``%1'' has begun'' The person himself told me about his appointment as director right after the announcement on October 29th. There was a report on LINE that "I finally grasped the possibility of %1". After the tryouts, when he visited Mr. Shinjo's home, high school and college baseball games were often played on TV. I guess so," he recalled. ◇ HARTY Born on May 23, 1985 (Showa 60), 36 years old from Osaka Prefecture. He started playing baseball when he was in the first grade of elementary school, served as vice-captain in the third year of Kagawa Nishi High School, and participated in Koshien as a second baseman. Injured in college and gave up baseball. Proceeded to the path of music that paralleled baseball, learned reggae in Jamaica, and worked in music distribution. In 2019, she made her major debut with “FURUSATO ~Chouchin no Akari~”.
