The "Tokyo 2020 Olympics" will finally be held from the 23rd. Here, we will introduce how to enjoy each competition by watching the Internet and pick up the competitions of interest. Some competitions will start on the 21st, prior to the opening ceremony on the 23rd.

There are three main services for distributing the Olympic Games online: the official Olympic Games video distribution site "gorin.jp", the official commercial TV portal "TVer", and the NHK distribution service "NHK Plus".

If you use "TVer" and "NHK Plus", you can first cover the competitions broadcast on commercial TV and NHK General TV / E-tele by online distribution. "Gorin.jp" will also deliver some live games that are not broadcast on TV. Live distribution of competitions broadcast by commercial broadcasters will also be held.

"TVer" is a service that you can watch for free from your PC, smartphone / tablet, TV, etc. without the need for registration. Regarding the Olympic Games, all competitions broadcast by commercial broadcasters will be broadcast live with live commentary in Japanese, as well as medal highlights and daily highlights centered on Japanese athletes. Please note that you cannot watch live streaming on the TV app and Chromecast. To watch the live stream, you need to watch it on your PC or smartphone / tablet app.

"NHK Plus" is a live broadcast of the competition broadcast on NHK General TV and E-Tele. Normally, ID registration such as entering the name and address of the reception contract is required for use, but live distribution of the competition broadcast can be viewed without registration. If you complete the ID registration, you will be able to chase and play, and you will also be able to watch overlooked distributions outside of the Olympic Games.
