Mr. Hiro Komura, an actress who experienced recurrence and recurrence after surgery for cervical cancer. She "fighted" cancer beyond relapses, and relapses changed her mind. Now, 10 years after the surgery, I looked back on the days when I was aiming for "coexistence" with cancer. We will introduce from Weekly Asahi Mook "Good Hospital 2022 by Number of Surgery", which is currently on sale. [Video] Click here for a message from Hiro Komura

*** A few days before this interview, the results of the CT (computed tomography) examination for the first time in a year came out. My heart was pounding, but there was no recurrence. My doctor said, "It's miraculous." "Hmm? What does "miracle" mean?" I am living in the present while savoring miracles. It was about 10 years ago, in December 2011, that I was first diagnosed with cervical cancer. There was no irregular bleeding or pain, and it was found by chance during a medical checkup, so it was just "Gang!". Luckily, it was detected early, so I underwent surgery to remove the cervix with a laser. However, when I went to ask about the test results, the doctor asked, "Are you alone?" "Huh? Is it okay to be alone?" Yes, it is more serious than I thought, and the stage is 1BI. I decided to have my uterus removed. Even so, there was no metastasis to the lymph nodes, etc., and I was told that it would be safe if there was no metastasis or recurrence after 5 years of follow-up. ■ On the day the follow-up was supposed to end, ``Recurrence was found.'' Five years later, I listened to the results of the 5-year test, expecting the doctor to say, ``Thank you for your hard work, Mr. Komura. went to. The doctor said, "The number of tumor markers is rising. There is a possibility of recurrence, so let's get tested immediately." Four recurrences were found in the pelvis. "I couldn't believe it." For the past five years, I've been careful about my diet and lifestyle, and I've been tested. Then relapse? "The shock was so great that I can't remember." Chemoradiation therapy, in which radiation therapy is administered while administering anticancer drugs, has begun. Injecting anti-cancer drugs once a week, concurrently receiving a total of 28 radiation treatments almost every day. The treatment period was about a month and a half, and the treatment was continued as an outpatient.
